To serve community neighbors and regular customers as a personal studio, we set up a quiet and comfortable atmosphere in the space. Since reservations are required for all services, there are not many seats, which, on the contrary, is expected to create more coziness and comfort with negative space.
By taking advantage of the base’s excellent lighting conditions, we separate the space without using large storage and display cabinets, hide the skirting of all floor cabinets, and use hairdressing tables designed not to touch the floor, building a lightweight and comfy space.
The washing area is sheltered by a glass shield in a corner of the space. This can not only give a sense of security to the washing area, but also bring natural light in, thereby softening up dark corners in the space.
Two-thirds of the store is dedicated to work and reception, and the other one-third at the back has a storage room, a staff room, and a restroom. All functional areas are integrated at the back, maintaining the refreshing feel of the service area at the front.
